
Ms. Huff has extensive workers compensation and general
liability claim experience. Having held a variety of roles
within claim organizations, her responsibilities have
included the development and delivery of training and
educational materials for internal and external business
partners. She believes in the positive, proactive Guilford
approach in solving clients workers' compensation
problems.
Ms. Huff assists employers in the professional assessment
of the medical, social and economic needs of their employees
while coaching employers in Guilfords integrated
employee benefits model. She has developed and delivered
training to integrate all aspects of workers compensation
case management for several fortune 500 companies targeted
toward helping employers control workers compensation costs.
Ms. Huff has developed return-to-work programs and trained
employers in the creation of innovative ways to establish
transitional duties to minimize lost workdays. Her
experience allows her to apply the GuilfordPare Injury
Management Model.
Ms Huff has developed disability management and managed
care personnel for several national third party claim
associations, coaching the staff in the responsibilities of
customer service, injury management, and the development and
use of legal and medical networks.
Tawanda received her BA from Christopher Newport
University and served a tour of duty in the United States
Army. She is a certified workers compensation
specialist and holds licenses in both Connecticut and
Texas.
