
Mrs. Eisenberg affords Guilford over 20 years of
experience in the medical, disability and insurance fields.
As a nurse consultant, she works closely with nation-wide
employers, insurance companies and reinsurance companies to
review and assess claims for workers compensation and find
solutions to return the injured worker to gainful employment
in a safe and expedient manner. Her positive advocacy
skills on behalf of the employee return the best outcomes
for the employer in controlling and reducing their
workers compensation expenses. Mrs. Eisenberg has
developed a specialized expertise in the area of subrogation
as it pertains to workers compensation claims
realizing that the ultimate cost for workers
compensation cases can and should be mitigated.
As a registered nurse, Mrs. Eisenberg brings to Guilford
experience as an emergency medical nurse, nurse
epidemiologist and a utilization review nurse. She has
assessed client needs, implemented appropriate and cost
effective medical rehabilitation plans and integrated
professional and claim goals to achieve the best case
outcome. Having worked in a variety of settings, ranging
from trauma centers to managed care corporations, Mrs.
Eisenberg has a broad view of the medical and legal issues
affecting healthcare and workers compensation.
She has a M.S. in Health Administration from Towson State
University and earned a B.S. in Nursing from the University
of Maryland, Baltimore. Most recently, she is enrolled in a
life-care planning curriculum through the University of
Florida. This designation will enable her to assist in
projecting lifetime medical care costs for catastrophic
injuries. Mrs. Eisenberg is an accomplished lecturer in the
field of nursing and medicine as well as a published author
in medical journals.
