
Mr. Kinsey brings to GuilfordPare over ten years risk
management, industrial medical case management, and
ergonomic experience as a key player for employer,
insurer and reinsurance clients.
Prior to joining GuilfordPare, Mr. Kinsey worked as a
risk manager for a major food distributor. In that
capacity he directed and managed the implementation of
safety, risk control initiatives and claim functions to
protect and contribute to earnings. Mr. Kinsey worked
with internal business partners to explain the impact of
workers compensation and other insurance related
charge back expenses and created and implemented
programs to improve bottom line performance.
He spent several years working as an industrial
medicine consultant for the Maryland Sports and
Industrial Medicine Services where he provided medical
case management, created injury prevention practices and
implemented training programs for businesses. Mr.
Kinsey worked aggressively with management to decrease
injury rates through the creation of prevention
programs, new hire pre-employment health screenings,
transitional duty programs and site specific work risk
analysis.
Mr. Kinsey is an athletic trainer whose experience
includes being the head athletic trainer for both an
expansion football team and the U.S. Naval Academy
Preparatory School. He has experience in creating
sports medicine departments to coordinate all aspects of
medical care provided to players.
Mr. Kinsey holds a B. S. from Towson State University
in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the National
Safety Council, and the National Athletic Trainers
Association.
