Ms. Gilbert has over 25 years experience in the field of health and medicine. She brings to Guilford a strong background of health education, insurance rehabilitation, catastrophic and independent case management, as well as a wealth of administration skill in the insurance, recruiting, training, and supervising aspects of the healthcare industry. With these assets, Ms. Gilbert assists clients in case management and consultation with insurance companies and physicians to successfully humanize complex medical problems in order to achieve exceptional outcomes.

As the Assistant Vice President for Case Management Services at American General Companies, Ms. Gilbert directed a national catastrophic care management program involving coordination of medical, psychological, vocational, and claim services. She also assessed client needs, implemented appropriate and cost effective rehabilitation plans, integrated professional and claim goals, and evaluated outcomes of those goals. Rosemary’s depth also includes medical billing audit programs, and corporate policies related to medical claim services.

Ms. Gilbert holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Loyola College. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Baltimore, a Nursing Degree from St. Agnes School of Nursing, and a Diploma of Practical Nursing from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Rosemary is a Maryland State RN, a certified Professional Counselor, rehabilitation nurse (CRRN), insurance rehabilitation specialist (CIRS), and case manager (CCM) for the United States Department of Labor.
