
Dr. Henry DeWitt has over twenty years of technical and
managerial experience in computer systems. He has worked
and consulted in a broad spectrum of business and government
environments and is an expert in systems operations,
software development and management information systems.
Dr. DeWitt is adept at helping companies take advantage
of current technology and software to enhance their system's
operation. His expertise enables Guilford's clients to
maximize the information they collect and to develop
reporting mechanisms that are useful to all who have a role
in the management of the Workers' Compensation process. Dr.
DeWitt has developed a propriety database injury management
system that is utilized by the Guilford team and interfaces
with over 150 insurance carriers and TPAs
nationally.
As owner and manager of a software consulting company,
Dr. DeWitt has executed complex projects for clients such as
Grumman Data Systems and The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics
Laboratory. These projects include the development of
telemetry processing, report writing routines and the
conversion of software programs to operate in new
environments. As director of Hadron, Inc., Dr. Dewitt was
responsible for the operational management and business
development for a $9 million per year business segment.
He holds a B.S. in mathematics from Cal Tech and a M.S.
and Ph.D. in computer science from UCLA.
