Diane DeRemigis
Injury Manager

Ms. DeRemigis brings over 14 years of property/casualty insurance, employee benefit and risk management experience to Guilford. As an Injury Manager for the Guilford, she manages several national and regional accounts assuming responsibility for customer service, and injury management. In this capacity, Ms. DeRemigis expertly handles case review, legal and medical case management, and oversight of insurance company practices. She has facilitated the development and implementation of injury management best practices for employers, professional employee organizations and insurers.

Prior to joining Guilford, Ms DeRemigis worked as a risk manager for the second largest mechanical contractor in the United States, managing their loss control, insurance certificates for subcontractors, and claim issues on construction projects, nationwide. She supervised three safety professionals who performed safety inspections internally as well as managed OSHA inspections of job sites. Ms. DeRemigis authored manuals and implemented programs, policies and procedures for improving workplace safety. She developed transitional work assignments and managed the medical outcomes for employees injured on the job in order to successfully integrate them back into the workplace, as soon as medically possible.

As an account specialist for employee benefits, Ms. DeRemigis managed executive benefit claims and the benefit enrollment activities for several regional and national corporations.
